If you can’t appreciate movies you need to improve your visual literacy. Cinema has its own language just as any visual medium does.

You can watch with your mind open just as you can to read.

Its not the medium thats the issue but the way the consumer treats it.

Edit. And by you I dont mean op personally, but people who generally think cinema is the place to close your mind.
