Is there any connection between this startup and the government? I won’t support a company that supports the Israeli government, financially or otherwise. But if it’s just a startup that happens to be run by Israeli people, can someone explain why that should affect anything? I don’t support the US government but I would still support American startups
2 points:
First, considering that the majority of Israelis support what’s happening in Gaza, I’d seek affirmative evidence that they are in the minority opposition. More importantly, unfortunately, is the fact that to the degree that they are successful and make money, their taxes and economic contributions will benefit a government and system that is actively engaging in a genocide of Palestinians, and in the best of time merely oppresses them.
It sucks to have to catch people for are individually decent in a larger boycott, if that is even the case here, but I don’t really see how to disentangle them from the larger Israeli system which, if it continues unchecked, will kill or push out every Palestinian in the West Bank and Gaza.
Yes. Any startup in Israel is built on stolen Palestinian land, and Israeli universities are highly connected to the IDF. Israeli startups get a lot of Israeli government funding in general, often paid by Europe or America.
The vast majority of Israelis are pro-genocide and there are stats to back this up. Also, the genocide in Palestine is currently ongoing and not hundreds of years old. That’s the difference.
That’s true but the difference is that the US is not currently actively committing a genocide, to expand their territory for example by slaughtering Mexicans or Canadians.
The original owners of Palestine are all still alive and there is no peace agreement signed to divide the land between the colonizer and colonized.
Americans are also not required to join their military and participate in said genocide. Israelis are. I can’t find any comment of the company or its CEO objecting the genocide so it’s safe to assume they are fully on board.
Being an undocumented immigrant is not exactly the same as a native inhabitant who is being ethnically cleansed. I’d love to live in a Kumbaya world without borders but this is a dick move, not genocide.
Wake me up when the “resistance” organisation isn’t called DSA
They are planning to round people up by the millions and are doing it based on skin color and language. They’re putting them in concentration camps, with plans to build many many more camps to house all the detainees.
The resistance is the Democrats, The Libertarians, The Green Party, The DSA, and non partied people that oppose the civil rights abuses and unconstitutional acts.
With the combination of indefinite detainment based on race alone being upheld in court and the administration chooses to ignore the courts and sending people to prisons with no due process proving they broke any laws, its an unconditional ethicnic cleansing, not an enforcement of any border laws.
The vast majority of their population doesn’t care about the genocide, the vast majority served in the military, there are almost no civilians in that invasion.
Why would you, if you have any ethics, partner with people with a massive chance of being pro genocide unless there is no other option in the world?
Also if it’s money going to their economy, to be converted directly into dead bodies.

All Zionists are guilty.

All corporations in the US are built on stolen native American land. The US is currently run by a fascist pedophile.
No one should support solari’s maker space because it supports a fascist pedophile and their maker space is literally on stolen land.
There are Israelis who don’t support the genocide. If that company is one of those, it would be important to support them.

ICE is ethnically cleansing the country literally right now.
If ICE was oppressing and genociding Americans the same way Israel is doing Palestinians, the 2nd amendement would be outlawed already.
It is, in fact, illegal for undocumented immigrants to own guns.

It’s an ethnic cleansing campaign.
