My point is I just don’t see how using Lemmy supports the person making it. I guess it kind of makes the platform more popular, but it’s not like there are any ads or anything here, so the actual benefit they get from each user is incredibly small. Just don’t donate to the devs and instead donate to whatever instance you use.
