Aw hell, if it’s collapsed I’ll just start a big “drive” in theater and have community showings! No society means no copyright enforcement!
Just bought a house after years of hunting. I’m /absolutely/ building a home theater in the basement to enjoy my home media server from once I can afford it in…17 years or so, assuming society hasn’t collapsed by then.
Weirdly wholesome really, it’s about acknowledging your role models and thanking them for being there. Sure it’s a bit parasocial but he’s championing their causes so I can see why they’d want to express gratitude.
Yeah, sure sucks when people go out of their way to bend their personal code of supporting creatives they enjoy to ensure they don’t contribute money to a hateful bigot who actively makes things worse for vulnerable minorities. Yeah, that sure is motivated by external approval of internet strangers.
Now that’s a keeper
I got laid off in March of 2020, shit was burning down and I decided I’d use the time to improve myself and go to college at 24. Now I’m 28 with a government job, a loving girlfriend and a plan to buy a house this year. Plant. The. Tree.
Just don’t look up, duh
I’m assuming this is a photoshop. Like, the real dog is probably still a unit but this dog looks like it couldn’t stand up, which begs the question of how it got there in the first place.
You’ve just made an enemy for life!
Redfall was trash, checks out
Additional advice from a cybersecurity professional that’s good for you and anyone else reading: under no circumstances should you use SMS 2FA if there’s another option.
Yes, having another app sucks (google/Microsoft have pretty universal apps if they’re supported) but it’s trivially easy for an even slightly well funded and motivated attacker to redirect your texts/phone calls so it’s well worth the pain.
Hope this helps!
Tempted to pick this up and then a friend tells me he doesn’t think we’ll play it enough. Like, whaaaa?
That’s common misinformation, there’s no such thing for telecoms (otherwise a heated argument with a teenager could get you flagged as spam). The correct move is report as spam and move on.
They do these innocuous messages to build the numbers reputation before they start using it for spam. If enough people reply (even to tell them to stop) it makes the number look legitimate and the spam they eventually send is less likely to get blocked. If you get these your best bet is to report it as spam. Just a PSA to everyone.
Spy came in from the cold, it feels so odd to see his face after so many years of maining him. He was my first Merc. Damn I’m a bit sentimental now…
I’ll die on this hill with you fellow person of culture.
Nah, I feel like it’s one of those trade offer memes:
I get: To replace your critical thinking skills
You get: To help us use the energy and water equivalent to a small nation
Never felt like a good deal, you know?
