I have only lived with this 49" monitor for about 3 weeks now. It’s oled, better than my previous 32" Samsung, but not a huge improvement - mainly better blacks. My work flow was 3 monitors with 3 different applications: file/folder/misc - browser | IDE - Inspector. With one monitor I pulled inspector into the browser and split the screen with my IDE. It’s much nicer, workflow wise.
Also versus a multi-monitor setup, I think it’s mostly superior, although I do prefer having vertical side monitors. It’s less power and less draw on my card. My GPU is basically getting the same FPS ( maybe 10 FPS less) for running in 5120 by 1440p. I haven’t tried anything demanding yet, Hell Let Loose ran around 60+ FPS. - currently playing Divinity 2 @ Ultra with an old 5700 and getting between 60-70 FPS.
But a nice 32"+ single monitor also works very well, if you don’t need a large space to work in. IMO if you need that 3 monitor setup, it’s worth it.
I recently picked up a 49" MSI OLED monitor and it has a built program to prevent burn in. I’ve only had it for a week, but it’s so much better than 3 monitors imo. I used it mainly for work, and a little gaming. No issues with either.
Basically do the same thing. Until a game hits $20 or less, I won’t purchase it. For $70, I would rather buy something useful like new shoes.

The first time I used Claude, I asked for a simple one page calculator. It made an entire website, complete with navigation and an about us page, and a css style sheet.

At my current job, I use AI frequently.
But it’s nowhere near replacing me. It’s like having a 12 year old intern that’s an inexperienced genius.
It’s great for saving me 10 minutes to write out some simple HTML or structured data. But it’s definitely not perfect and tends to add unnecessary changes, I constantly have to review and add new rules.
So I don’t think it’s replacing any humans any time soon, but it has gotten exponentially better over just a few months. So maybe in a few years, I’ll start to worry.
I saw this on YT, I don’t remember any artifacts or the channel. Iirc, these 2 guys killed a homeless man while living at some homeless shelter or something. I assumed it was real, because why make up something so mundane.

And most of the green flags too

On a side note I pulled 2 complete older PCs out of a literal trash can, added a $100 video card and rebuilt and sold them for $700. I still have a new $100 motherboard I found in that trash. People be stupid.
I think most people feel like Ron at the end of office space.

10%? Seems low
“God dammit Jerry! This is my snake, I saw it first”

I didn’t have a Christmas tradition, until now…

Yeah this was his brother that allowed his dog to be eaten by coyotes so he could make a video about him killing the coyote.

Back in the day my friend couldn’t get through the MOH level with snow. It would just freeze and crash. So I showed him how to cheat and bypass the level.
If it’s single player then do whatever you want. It only affects you.

Nope. Either they can’t view(encrypted )it or they don’t care. The isps that actually do something, will send you multiple warnings, like 7 plus.
Then you just get a VPN and carry on as usual. In 25 years or so I have gotten 2 warnings.

Hell BitTorrent is outdated, these days you just watch the movie through an online streaming site. It requires zero technical knowledge
Every time someone organically refers to their computer as an Apple or Mac, an Apple marketing executive creams their pants.
