They jelly can absolutely be made into a mint sauce for lamb, or just slathered on as is too. But more or less yes, I enjoy the mint flavor with the peanutbutter a bunch! It also tends to be a less sweet jelly than store bought strawberry or grape. Those are sickeningly sweet

Teacher handed out some blank pages and wanted a couple line response to something we were doing that day. I wrote it down and decided I wanted to doodle so I (neatly) tore the page in half and handed in my answer. Got points marked off for not handing in a full piece of paper (my response/answer itself was good). WTH? Since when was that a requirement for such casual assignments?

30+ people invited, 1 showed, mother’s friend’s kid. (I was ~6-8), parents didn’t do birthday parties for me after that. Next birthday get together I had was @16 with 3 friends. I’m not an only child but it was just me in that situation.
I don’t go to fast food often, I walked into a McDonalds for the first time in maybe 1yr +? They had the kiosks for self ordering, I looked at the prices and “deals” and decided that the cost/experience ratio was just not worth and just left. I can go to a restaurant or cook myself for those prices (and I did, cooked enchiladas).
It doesn’t seem affordable/worth it even for a one-off now

Turns out, no, they don’t. I.E. if I write: Hello there, ¥¶®×°∆| Kenobi. As long as "¥¶®×°∆|" is understood as “General” than according to (american) English it is written “correctly”. There’s no edict that states a " T" must be written in that shape, therefore, any symbol that’s understood intent wise is correct.

One of the features I thought it could be wicked useful for is printer clarity. When scanning or copying bad/old papers, hand written, etc. It could clean up, focus, or turn handwriting to print. That would actually be a good use for it IMO, ofc it’ll fuck shit up sometimes but it’ll probably be better than nothing at all

Although I like the concept, I just don’t see a world where UBI does anything helpful. Unless people are able to just not work and all goods are human free/automated. Otherwise companies’ products and housing will rise to meet what they now know you have in income. Give everyone $1k and prices will rise to consume that $1k so you just end up feeding tax dollars into companies mouths. Pay for it by taxing the companies and they will increase prices till they hit the sweet spot intersection of cost/value, but people will still be at a negative because some of that resource pool gets eaten by government management of the UBI system.
May as well do what we used to and tax companies more and put that into social services, at least companies can’t squeeze that from us.
