Yeah sometimes maybe some laptop it will hardbrick your bios chip, require programer to reflash or replace the chip

Me too l, I only used Linux for 2 years and I never had any problems with driver after update or any problems in general really.

Luckily this time it didn’t fry the bios chip, but I wasted 2 hours fucking around and waiting for dell diagnostic tool to complete

Tbh any distro should be fine even the most bloated distro still lighter than Windows (use 1.5GB on average), if all you do is streaming 8gb should be more than enough

I switched to Niri a few months ago as an experiment but now I guess I will not go back to KDE anytime soon

Most logistics companies in my country run on browser so if it is the same in Italy it shouldn’t be too hard to switch

Nowadays it’s harder to find a trustworthy sources for cracked softwares than games even from the wiki, that’s why I switched all of my softwares to open source
