  • Yep. This is hardware related. To be fair, many programmers I know are also into self-building and more hardware-related stuff, but that’s something I personally just don’t know my way around well (instead I like more theoretical computer science more). So I genuinely don’t know the problem here, and I think that’s fine.

  • Hey :)
I’m honestly super surprised to see you / this game here on the Fediverse.

A few days ago the trailer of this exact game was on my YouTube front-page recommended to me (despite just having hundreds of views). The game looked amazing (I even made two comments there). But now, seeing the same game / even the developer themselves on Lemmy, which isn’t exactly a well-known platform, is such a big coincidence :0

Anyways, while yesterday the demo wasn’t available for me on Steam yet, I just looked at it (the page was even still open!) and now it is :D

I’m actually hyped to play it, I just have one question :) How much does the demo spoil of the game? I’d love playing the demo, but I don’t want to spoil myself too much, so I probably wouldn’t play it if it contained large parts of the final game.

  • I love the fact that I never turned into this guy that hates the new stuff. I wasn’t hating fidget spinners when everybody hated them, I liked Fortnite, I think skibidi toilet is fun and such. But just as I didn’t like some trends when I was young myself (e.g. I never wanted to join the Gangnam style dance), I do find it disappointing that 67 is so popular, because I loved the fact that 69 is funny because of sex.

  • Since the Lemmy devs are awful, an alternative isn’t a bad idea (although the Lemmy design itself makes it less bad for Lemmy than it would be for a centralized service).

From a technical perspective, it’s definitely sad to use this kind of service provided by Python instead of Rust (even if I like and use both languages).
