





I got super annoyed by lightnovels over there because it’s Japanese only and I mentioned in a comment a Korean novel. A mod rightly called me out.
It was clearly against the rules but that’s annoying. I don’t event track if a novel is Korean or Japanese since they’re all translated. (Names are hard to remember so I just switch it to MC in my brain)
I used to take public transit and take naps but somehow wake up before my stop.
Never had to be woken up at the end. I think this is partially due to a sharp turn that would shift the bus a few minutes before my stop.

Everyone is saying audiobooks which are read by voice actors. Have you tried TTS (Text to speech) apps?
I’ve been using @Voice for years and super happy with it.
I read WNs and LNs from Japan and Korea extremely often. I don’t really read them though. I listen while doing chores/driving.
You can share a website to it and it’ll load a few chapters using the <next> button.
If pre loading doesn’t work you can email the Dev and they’d fix it within 48 hours in my experience.

Yeah nearly every time they end up on my side.
My latest issue that didn’t help at all with with a Verizon call to a CSR in India. She was a human robot reading a script. Didn’t listen to me at all just following her prompts. An AI would’ve done a better job.


There’s also people stealing (even reselling) necessities like toothpaste, deodorant and laundry detergent.


When I have an issue with a corp and have to talk to a human I start with an apology to that individual.
“Hey I have an issue with X about Y, but I have nothing against you as a person. You’re just trying to do your job and probably deal with a ton of verbal abuse. I apologize in advance if I get upset or use crude language during this call. Be aware that I’m not upset at you I’m upset at the company policies.”
