  • Yes you did, your advice was basically, your brother is a serial killer and you should let the therapists contact authority, and you deserve better. How is that not a thoughts and prayers message.

“Was basically” and then make a poor summery.

First of all reading and watch documentaries about serial killer makes you the reverse of an expert, you are now filled with strong bias on serial killer profile, in dramatized version.

Yeah what do scientists and experts know about it anyway, right? With their dramatized scientific papers and everything. I bet any socccermom on Facebook knows better, right? *big_sigh

Second you don’t know him or the situation he is facing, his asking for advice on how to stop his therapist to go to the authorities because that would according to HIM put HIM in a much worse situation.

I don’t need to know him or the situation he is facing, all I know is that he’s in a dangerous and toxic environment and he needs to get out ASAP. And I know his brother is a high risk for causing harm to him, animals and other people. So anything is better than to stay in this situation. A therapist is trained for these situations. The authorities too. Protecting such a harmful person is a danger to society. You don’t want to be in a situation where the guy killed someone (or you) while you could have done something, like expose his issues and protect yourself.

But if you know so much better, what are your qualifications?

  • Did you play RDR1? I thought that one was much better than 2, story wise. Not that 2 was bad. Rockstar games are always good imo.

Baldur’s gate 3 is also in my top 3, story wise and how well it was made and time spent playing it. I finished the campaign 6 times now, 4 of which with friends playing couch coop.

Also Age of Empires 2 because when I was young I played that game for over at least 3000 hours (if not double) and I still play it sometimes. Just well balanced and lots of good memories from back then, having LAN parties with my friends and playing it for days.

  • I am calm down. See, when I go for a walk, I know I’m safe. Proper walking infrastructure, safe roads so no risk being hit by cars (yes we have cars, not mega trucks). No one has a gun, so that’s nice. I can safely walk the streets any time of the day, everywhere I go. If something were to happen to me, there’s proper healthcare covered by insurance and a free ambulance ride with a max 10min waiting time, everywhere in the country. We have affordable medicine. There’s a working democracy where I live and even though it could be better, a working social system. They are working to decrease the amount of cars in my city and increase greenery so the air is clean. And next to that, our drinking water is the highest rated drinking water out there, even better than bottled water. So are our roads, highest rated in the world. There’s public transportation everywhere (still could be cheaper imo) so I sold my car because it became obsolete. I have an e-bike because cycling infrastructure is also everywhere. But don’t worry, we still complain about stuff. Like, houses are expensive. While in the US they give children backpacks with bullet proof vests, we force companies to change all ports to USB C. We fight for phones to get replaceable batteries back, in the US they struggle to deal with a company who mass murders tens of thousands each year by making them all addicted to opiods, which still continues to this day.

I’ve seen developing countries in a better state than the US. Don’t forget, the most in the US are born into poverty and have little to no chance to get out of it. The only chance they have is getting killed, end up in jail, die by overdose or make a minimum wage while living in their car until they get sick.

And remember, I’ve seen many countries on nearly all continents. Many are worse, but also many are better. Much better.

  • I’ve seen a lot of the world. Like, a lot. The US is definitely on my “I don’t want to be born there” list. And im happy I wasn’t. But I would understand most Americans think differently, seeing how self centered they are. But it’s a failed state. Insane poverty, wealth inequality, corruption, incarceration numbers, broken judiciary system, crime rates, etc. It’s run by a criminal pedophile and everyone knew that when they voted for him. After he ruined a previous term already. Like, Idiocracy at its best. People who actually believe the US is a good country are either ignorant, super rich or blind AF. But yes, there are countries that are worse.

  • “Oh no, a platform with options, why would anyone want options?”

Go buy a MacBook if you like basic functions. Yt music is getting closer to old fashioned but amazing Winamp. I praise them for it. With one menu button you have all the options 1 click away. No submenu’s, no 5 different menu’s, just one with everything. How can you complain about this? I’d say that’s mild infuriating. “oh look, a platform is doing something right, let’s make fun of them because I just wat a play and pause function and nothing more.”
