Still playing Silksong, I should probably be getting to Act 3 now, but I’m procrastinating and trying to find more hidden places.

Got an infection and couldn’t get off the bed much for a couple days, played lots of Silksong. Would have been bored to death otherwise
Second this. We have a Core One at work which was upgraded from an MK4. Has almost 1 k hours print time, broke down once (mostly due to my negligence), otherwise very accurate and reliable. Not very happy with their customer support though, they diagnosed the problem incorrectly and suggested I change the wrong part. Others generally have a better opinion of their support, so maybe mine was an outlier.

I have the qidi q1 with about 250 h print time and it’s been great. Quick and simple with pla and abs, had to dial in linear advance for petg. I do a lot of toys and HueForge, quite happy with its ability to do small details. It has some small issues but overall very good especially with the price point.
The q2 is supposed to support their decently released MMU system, but I haven’t bothered reading about it.

Got a steam deck in preparation of Silksong, having fun playing Untitled Geese Game, the couch coop is awesome. Also thinking I will try to finally finish Portal, hopefully before Thursday

Card holders for board games. Normally a thick deck tends to slip around, and the bottom card can be hard to pick up. We now keep a few holders for the standard sizes, and use them if a game needs any. So convenient.
I don’t understand this on so many levels…

I would change the difficulty and then regret it later, which I did with Furi and Jedi fallen order.
Furi’s combat is so good, and the easy mode is well designed too (still challenging, enemies just have less complex movesets and possibly fewer phases), but I wish I had taken a break and fought through the game properly. Now that I’ve finished the game on easy and seen the ending, I don’t think I ever will revisit it.
I definitely want to build a Voron myself someday, but I’m now looking at getting a Qidi q1p first so that I have something to use, and can print the printable parts myself. It sounds like I’d need to take a week off work to build a Voron
Thank you! I should convince my lab to buy the Mk4s to Core One upgrade kit, especially with the health aspect. It’s a big lab with ventilation, most of my colleagues only print PLA, but we print a lot. The extra speed will make the mechanical engineers very happy.
Personally I’m starting to lean towards getting a small QIDI printer now, and build a Voron 2 next year with hopefully Bondtech’s prospective INDX. That would be the perfect setup for me.
I had seen a video for INDX and totally forgot about it! With how it works it seems more comparable to the Prusa XL, if it ends up being something I can afford I’d totally go for that
It’s really a small inconvenience, but using an adapter would mean I’d be prone to misplace it when I use my headphones on anything else, so it hardly makes anything better
No earphone jack again. That’s a bit sad. Even though I mainly use BLT earbuds, I still sometimes wish I could use my wired headphones. It’s just a small inconvenience
I overlooked the upgrade aspect, good point
They don’t really have anything in my price range, especially considering taxes and delivery. It doesn’t look like they have a warehouse in Europe.
Thanks! I’ve only heard about Qidi recently, but they seem to have a really good reputation. I saw someone mention that they’re planning a multi-color system, if i decide for QIDI I will probably wait for that or look into Box Turtle.
I mostly print PLA and I don’t care too much about print speed, so I didn’t think the core one will really bring much advantage.
As for looking at IDEX, it’s more because it looks really cool. I’d like to be able to combine pla with tpu or petg, but realistically I don’t think I need it enough to justify the cost. I’ll get a lot more use out of a multi colour system like an MMU.

I scored 8 out of 10! Can you tell a coder from a cannibal? 💻🔪 https://vole.wtf/coder-serial-killer-quiz/

It feels quite annoying to me.
