All I mean is that statistic is not relevant here. One in three men commit sexual assault over the course of their lives. That doesn’t mean it’s a third chance someone’s going to do it randomly to a women in the woods. That’s a different still significant statistic. And let’s just not entire groups of people is all. Women should be cautious of men.
And yet women run into more than 3 men every day and remain unmolested. All of these crimes happened to someone they planned in their life over time. Not randomly at the gas station. They are crimes of personal hate that hurt the entire family. It’s not like men are attacking women on sight (1 out of 3 times). There are a small percentage of sickos that might attack a women in the woods. Not 31%. This is all of a course obvious unless you want a frame statistics to spread hate

My statistics are exactly as valid as yours. The point is to not hate and insult entire groups of people over a couple bad examples.

Nothing about it makes people consider male sexual assault more significant a threat. It’s just insulting and unproductive to any conversation about women’s safety
We all are familiar with sexual assault. It happens most often in situations where the criminals know the victim. Not randomly every time you talk to a man outside your house. Frankly, sexual assault has nothing to do with attraction. You can be afraid of whatever you want to make yourself feel more in control of how terrible our society is. Dogs can be dangerous as are cars, and even women. Stay inside forever. More room for those of us that believe in a society that trusts eachother

Nothing is predictable when you are assuming the worst case for everything. I don’t think you could reason with cocaine bear. Men can be terrible but it’s not that likely to encounter rapists and killers. It’s easy to cherrypick scary murder stories to be afraid of. Most of the time a lost women has been found and saved in the woods it was by the predominantly male search and rescue. Also why should I leave my kids at a women day care with how often they drown them. Probably be safer leaving my kids with sharks
