It varies, but it’s something like $7.50 to $8.
Really? Wow, in my area it’s like $12.

21·18 days agoRight, but hear me out: I know that SpaceX is impossibly overvalued and that makes me smart. So what if I bought some SpaceX stock, waited for some rubes to buy the stock from me at higher price and then I cashed out? Since I’m so smart, I’m sure I could get in and get out before the whole thing falls apart. /s

Oh boy… he is just chugging the AI kool-aid.
That’s because what you’re searching for is what you definitely want, so they know you’re likely click/buy it. But if throw a bunch of crap that you maybe might want before you get to it, maybe you’ll buy some of that too. It’s like how supermarkets throw a bunch of junk food in a checkout lane, maybe you’ll get tempted while you’re forced to stand there even though you just wanted to buy laundry detergent.

20·2 months agoI dunno, while (most of the time) I liked chatting with people in MMORPGs when it came to quests or raids it really quickly broke down. It always seemed to end up being a game of “Oh Bob’s gonna be here in fifteen minutes we just gotta wait” or “Fred’s just fucked up his role and now we’re looking at a party wipe”.
IMO as a chat room most MMORPG’s work fine, or as a casual hang out with friends they’re fine too. But when you get to “You need 10+ people to do this dungeon” they really stopped being fun.
Honestly… I like it.
Oh, there’s some irony woven in there. There was a discussion by the Conservapedia mods that got re-posted to Something Awful where the mods were debating “How to we tell trolls parodying Conservative talking points from the standard Conservative crazies that are editing Conservapedia in good faith?” IIRC nobody had a good answer.
Whenever Conservapedia comes up there’s almost always someone who says something along the lines of “I just checked and my stupid edit of <whatever article> is still up!”

Games@lemmy.world•Switch 2 Sales Reportedly Struggled Over The Christmas PeriodEnglish
98·6 months agoWell… while the price of the Switch 2 certainly causes sticker shock, when you adjust for inflation it’s only about as expensive as the SNES was at launch… and is in fact cheaper then the NES was at launch. However, in the PS3’s case when adjusted for inflation it was about 1.5 times as expensive as the SNES at launch (for the 20 gb version, the 60 gb was double).
Honestly, if real life cops were even half as dedicated and moral as their fictional copaganda counterparts ACAB probably wouldn’t be a saying.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
Six for me, but I cannot picture ever using something like this… even while the grief was still fresh.
Well I mean it doesn’t. If the program ever comes out it’ll probably just be a generic LLM with a few custom prompts for each customer (if that).
Also, I can’t imagine anyone who was actually close to someone being willing to actually use something this ghoulish. So they won’t find it suspicious if grandma starts saying the secret ingredient in her pizza sauce was glue or that you should feed baby Charlie one small rock a day.
