even if I accept your premise of a “brainwashed NeoLuddite mob,” you’re still wrong on the simple principle of arguing against a company properly labeling what their product is or how it was made.

long winded way to say your objections are logical and sound while everyone else is just having a panic, you little moralizer you.
A substantial part of the market not wanting AI in their products is actually a great reason for them to disclose when it is or isn’t used
Someone disagreeing with you =/= moral panic
2001: A Space Odyssey touched me in that special place between science, religion, and spirituality.
It was always hungry, and now it was starving. When the first faint glow of dawn crept into the cave, Moon-Watcher saw that his father had died in the night. He did not know that the Old One was his father, for such a relationship was utterly beyond his understanding, but as he looked at the emaciated body he felt dim disquiet that was the ancestor of sadness
In their explorations, they encountered life in many forms, and watched the workings of evolution on a thousand worlds. They saw how often the first faint sparks of intelligence flickered and died in the cosmic night. And because, in all the galaxy, they had found nothing more precious than Mind, they encouraged its dawning everywhere. They became farmers in the fields of stars; they sowed, and sometimes they reaped. And sometimes, dispassionately, they had to weed.
Idk man you’re the one that can’t seem to make out the details
It looks exactly like a nude woman with a bottlecap hat, it has to do with the shading. The pic you posted looks like clay, the OP pic looks like shiny skin. Yeah it’s not 100% photorealistic, obviously some details are missing, but the details that are there paint a picture. A nude picture, specifically, I’m pretty sure I can make out nipple and areola.
That detail + shading approximates nudity.
That shading is way different. Even with a properly glazed (heh) clay figure, it would be difficult to achieve the “oiled up skin” shading that Mrs Butterworth has, it looks like a nude photo shoot.
The shading and detail are nothing like a clay figure
To me it reads: “Did you know? This level of halo has an elevator so part of it is above another part.” Yes, that’s what elevators do.
Yeah that’s basically it, just a very video game-y thing where environments can be radically different without the player noticing. It’s just the discrepancy between where the game says ground level is.
I opened it in blender to make a better comparison, the difference between the two ground levels is about 150 meters, and close enough that it doesn’t make a lot of sense. Which is fine but it’s just kinda fun to see, like one of the VFX things where if it is a good movie you don’t notice until someone points it out.
my grandma could beat the game if she saved as much as you
Fidelity and it’s consequences have been a disaster for the budget size
I’m more concerned about the Jack Daniels oral care tbh
Nah fuck the shareholders, if they do something we depend on and pay for it with tax dollars then we should own them.
okay so since this is the science memes community, did I choose the right foodborne illness or was there a better punchline than listeria?
but The Orville is just Star Trek with Family Guy jokes
Tangential but you might find TiddlyWiki useful, it’s a single file personal wiki that can be edited in any web browser.
Powers of ten my ass
Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 are real time with pause if that helps!
