Also, it’s bespoke. That should add another zero.

I don’t have calf cramps, but sometimes I’ll be flexing my toes and I’ll feel one start to fire up a cramp, and it’s a fast-paced high-stakes game of Operation, where I keep moving my toe around trying to find the magic relaxation spot, while it sends off more and more alarming pre-cramp warning buzzes. (That may not be a perfect metaphor but I got tired of thinking of board games. I also considered Battleship.)
IT systems need a way to pre-enter an account deactivation, and when HR sends a text to the system it makes it live, or something. I’ve been the IT guy who was told to disable an account, and the user found out before the news was broken so they asked me what was going on. No bueno.
I’m not crying, someone’s cutting garlic.
I guess I was thinking of how to videos like how to fix a part on your car. But yeah I can see how how to videos like that still being an opportunity for Google to make money.
People who watch tutorial videos only get on, watch the video and then leave. How are they supposed to make tons of advertising revenue from that? No, we must sacrifice that class of video from the platform, in pursuit of the almighty dollar.
Is it ever stated that the serpent is actually Satan?
*Obvious money laundering is money laundering (and also a scam).
Haven’t heard of it before now
Actually, I saw enough comments about people switching to Linux that I finally said “what the hell” and took the plunge! Very glad I did, as I read more and more crap Microsoft is doing.
And if you don’t like comments that won’t change anything and just annoy people…maybe you should reevaluate your bellyaching 😄
I second Cobalt Core, haven’t tried the other two yet. But CC is a lot of fun, I agree it has an FTL feel, but if I had to compare it to another game I’d say it’s closer to deck building rogue likes, like Slay the Spire and Monster Train.
Remember, if they bite you, you only have a minute to kill yourself.
Damn, I was going to upvote the comment that says “my computer is on and running, 24 hours a day” but nobody said it yet 🙁 sorry Earth…
I really enjoyed Tunic, but I didn’t hear about it until recently I saw someone mention it, even though it came out in 2022.
It’s heavily zelda-inspired in the overworld and kinds of items you find, but the combat has rolling too, so a little more fluid than older zelda games. The best part though is you start off not knowing basically anything about how to play/what the controls are/what the heck is going on, and as you explore you find scattered pages from the old-school style instruction booklet. As you reassemble it, it reveals tips and things you might have overlooked. It was just a ton of fun exploring and learning and overcoming.
shrugs in Firefox
There was/is a recent lawsuit against Google for paying other browsers to make google the default search engine, and I think it was ruled against Google. And that payment is like 81% of Mozilla’s income. So if they have to stop those payments, Mozilla’s is gonna have to find some other ways to make money or cut back massively on their budget. So while I don’t like ads, if Mozilla has to do this to stay around, I’ll support them. If I got any facts wrong here, someone please correct me.
You could hammer 100 little tack/nails into a board and hang them vertically. They’d be a lot longer vertically then they are wide, so you could do like 25 across x 4 down. You could maybe even still keep the plastic sleeves on them.
Or find a big donut shaped pillow, with the same diameter as a neck, and put all them on it?
I weigh 175lbs naked, but you really can’t trust those grocery store scales.
In the couple places where I don’t use a password manager, I make up a silly sentence and use the first letter of each word and then mix in numbers and symbols. I guess that means the letters I use end up not being evenly distributed, but I think it’ll be alright.
