I can see the use case for gmail at least. I tried to access web interface from India and it loaded like for 2 solid minutes before showing up completely unresponsive. I could have had it 10 times faster with a dedicated IMAP client.

Love that they have leaders, meaning people who have advanced more into idiocy than on average.

Fedora on laptop. Fedora on desktop. Fedora in the server. Fedora in WSL.
I had fun in the online races, especially in VR.
I think it could use more guard rails. Like if you are flashing a 4gb image to a 256 gb partition. a confirmation dialog?

Love the raspis, just make sure the passwords are not stored on the sd card because those fail all the time hah.

I self host via vault warden. And I have it locked behind tailscale vpn. Aside from your server itself getting hacked, which is a risk, this is more secure than having passwords on the public internet.
Thats nothing, on 2 separate occasions i mistyped the parameters for dd and erased my entire hard drive lol.
Every year we get imported Banganapalli mangos from India, when ripe these have an extremely rich taste. Nothing like the regular ones from the grocery stores. Sadly they are very seasonal, like 2 months.

My mbp monitor failed after 2 years and it would have been 1k to fix. So no.
I just saw one of these too. RIP YouTube.
Set language or something i read Japanese

projects, games, and programs are the non default folders in mine
I was just coming to suggest this. Linux users are built different lol. My touchpad doesnt work. Buy a mouse. Display doesnt work. Its a headless server. Wifi is messed up. Buy a usb stick. If you can boot, that computer is golden
I run jellyfin, plex, mattermost, peertube, minecraft, all under one host. Never had anything conflict and just upgrade the rpms. Some of them use the same postgres database. Thats how I prefer to do things. I will use docker if absolutely forced, I know how, understand its easier to deploy etc. but I would rather it be the choice of the user instead of the software. Or if not rpm let me get in the source and run it.
Ideally yea. Rpm package with various architectures. 90% of other software is able to do it. I only use docker for immich and this would remove a dependency for me.

Fedora works for both of those

Sounds like someone needs HomeAssistant…
I had a pine phone for a while and it was sufficiently developed to use it as a daily driver… if you could put up with dropped calls, and texts, and burning thru ur whole battery in one hour cuz sleep didn’t work.
This car looks like something you would drive in PUBG.
