I’ve mostly seen comment removals. Mods seem to use the option to remove comments instead of the downvote button… I tried to make a forum for mod abuse and discussions about how forums are moderated, but so far nobody is using it.
Post to !mods@sopuli.xyz if you notice patterns of that sort of thing, maybe we can get it going.
They are useful for dummies like me though! When I let my phone run out of battery while installing an update, I thought it was the end for it. But it turned out that it had just bricked itself by desperately using every single ounce of juice, so it could no longer tell the charger that it wanted to charge.
Solved by buying a dumber charger!
Isn’t it? Compared to sports, running or interval running it’s very little effort.
There’s got to be some psychological hack to this for some people, and I envy them. Imagine getting satisfaction from having gone to the gym just to walk… Gym is already a lazy form of workout even if you exert yourself.
Then again, the only people I see walking on treadmills are fairly in-shape young women, so it’s hardly an issue
now journalism, sociology, economics and civics, on the other hand…
No, but we probably sounded something like that way before there were neanderthals and modern humans though. At some point, somebody figured out how to tell their peers that they’re going to have to hunt for something big
They did speak weird though! Analysis of their airways suggest that they had a much higher-pitched voice than our kind, and probably had a harder time with consonants. So their language would have certainly been different. Although we have no way of knowing if parts of their language still lives on in our speech today.
Men visst, “talare” blir lite roligt på svenska
Right, so I seem to have gotten it wrong on his name. It was Neander (New Man in greek) rather than Neumann (New Man in german), but I should also have specified in the meme that the name means New Man.
That one takes the cake! How does that happen? Is there welsh, saxon and latin in there or something?
nerd
Hehe. Never heard of that one. I want to know how aware these people are when they name things. In sports, a bit of humor is probably common, but with the neanderthals, I just don’t see the high-strung scientists of the late 1800’s intentionally making a joke on this kind of thing. I do however see them doubling down on a decision even if it’s pointed out that it’s stupid.
I don’t want to brag, but I learned this from a book
If you know how to yell and shout to get your way, then you should come to Sweden! Välkommen, min vän!
And not the next
A “red wine guy”. Ugh.
I usually think about opening the next one before I’ve even finished
If you aren’t creative enough to get off, then sex with you is probably useless too. 🤷🏼♀️
But lame ass roasting aside
Not gonna pretend that I don’t deserve it, or that I’m very polite either, but beginning every response with an insult is not some clever ‘roasting’.
I don’t agree with you that it should take half a year of learning your partner for sex to be good. If you’re attentive and interested in getting your partner off, then you can do that the first time, or certainly atleast in a shorter time than that. But it’s going to differ between different people ofc.
It’s not jews, it’s not women, and it’s not strictly urologists. It’s everyone in government and the medical field who can influence what is and isn’t considered OK.
I will never ever trust this. Not with how gender/maleness is treated these days. What ‘they’ consider safe can be entirely political and ideology-based, rather than a biological fact.
Those are great notes, thank you! It’s kind of a low-effort community though, I must confess. I figured if more people wanted to be part of it, it could become more serious with better formatting. Since that hasn’t happened, I just threw in some stuff now and then to have any content at all.
But yeah, you’re right that might have meant I set the bar low. I was never much of a content creator. As for anti-feminism, yeah I am anti feminist. Not because I don’t support and respect womens rights, but because under the guise of feminism, men become second-class citizens, due to the unfaultering belief that women always deserve more, and that being a man is a sin that should be punished. But that’s not what the community is about. Anybody is free to post there.
