Famous last words.
Famous last words.
Thanks for confirming. I’m glad you mentioned it, cause it’s so important for teachers to create a learning environment that students want to learn from.
My schooling was made a lot worse by teachers that had the “punish cheaters” kind of mindset, and it’s a big part of why I dropped out of highschool.
The implication I gathered from the comment was that if students are resorting to using chatgpt to cheat, then maybe the teacher should try a different approach to how they teach.
I’ve had plenty of awful teachers who try to railroad students as much as possible, and that made for an abysmal learning environment, so people would cheat to get through it easier. And instead of making fundamental changes to their teaching approach, teachers would just double down by trying to stop cheating rather than reflect on why it’s happening in the first place.
Dunno if this is the case for the teacher mentioned in the original post, but the response is the vibe I got from the comment you replied to, and for what it’s worth, I fully agree. Spending time and effort on catching cheaters doesn’t help there be less cheaters, nor does it help people like the class more or learn better. Focusing on getting students enjoyment and engagement does reduce cheating though.
Legit question: how is that different conceptually to the random individuals all running Prime95? Could that not also be referred to as a cloud supercomputer?
Monster Hunter is a great series. Not terribly stoked about the endgame in Rise though. I think my ideal game would be something like Generations Ultimate but with the overall clunk removal that world/rise did.

Fair warning, Battle of Mice can be tough to listen to. Song 6 of “A day of Nights”, titled “At the base of the giants throat” has 911 call audio from 7:00 ish to the end of the song.
Rheia is so fucking good. It’s a perfect example of music driven by emotion and backed up by incredible execution of the music itself. Glad to see that other people dig it. As for Deafheaven, I loved it when I first heard of it and listened to it all the time, but it’s become one of those bands that I can’t listen to anymore because of the association to that point in my life, which was not great to put lightly. I remember it being an incredible band, but it’s been close to 10 years since I’ve listened to it, so I can’t say whether I’d think it’s good today. Maybe I wouldn’t like it today if I was just hearing it the first time.
Edit: my favorite Battle of Mice song, Sleep and Dream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1k74EB4XVp0
Check out Battle of Mice, Deafheaven, and Oathbreaker if you haven’t. They lean pretty heavily on the depressing side of metal, but they have some killer vibes.
Could check out High on Fire if you haven’t.
Saw them open for Mastodon in 2009 (I think). Fucking excellent on stage.
Started the night off with Fireface: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2HFUePNKDs
I’m so glad I decided to read this without skipping to the end first. What a great little journey, thanks for this.
My only suggestion is to spoiler the last bit for those with wandering eyes.
I hope they release more Smartypants soon. “When is the happiest birthday?” and “No thank you the ocean” are fucking incredible, but honestly it’s all gold.
More specifically, the only source the article even gives is a link to a reddit post with a screenshot of the tweet, of which doesn’t have a direct link to the tweet. This is half assed journalism at best, considering they even quoted the original screenshot wrong.
Edit: lol they couldn’t even get the person’s name straight. It changed from Robert Stevenson to Anderson after the email portion. Why’s this article even here?
I do not like to add AI.
I would not like it here or there.
I would not like it anywhere.
I would not add it in a handbag.
I would not, could not, in a car.
Not to a baby, not to a helmet.
Not in my house, Not on a mouse.
I do not like to add AI.
I do not now, nor ever will I.
Do you hear me Microsoft?
Take your AI and fuck off.
Is this Babymetal? I feel like I’ve seen this image before but I can’t remember where.
Fun fact, that’s well within the ballpark of how fast pulsars rotate.

My heart goes out to you. Hang in there, jiggly creature.
Yeah the Steam refund 2 hour thing is just the no questions asked guaranteed refund window. You can absolutely request a refund outside of that window and they’ll be quite reasonable in most cases.
That’d be pretty funny if that was the case, because Craftopia (Pocketpair’s first game, released before Legends Arceus was announced) also did the monster collection mechanic in the exact same way as Palworld.
I’ll happily settle for any amount more physical buttons. It sucks to listen to music using my phone because I can’t skip, replay or pause songs without using the touch screen.
