We got broadband super early for the UK, I think around late 2000, as my dad was part of the 21CN team at BT.
It was surreal how fast that seemed back then and being an 11 year old kid with that instant access to a whole web that seemed almost exclusively populated by adults if not late teens at that moment.
Maybe the younger ones still elastic brains were just too vulnerable

Used to be, Waze is consistently better at producing faster routes now at least in the UK. I keep meaning to try out others like organic though.
Yeah I was just reading through these comments totally confused what was going on, I might get a KFC once a year and that’s it. All the rest of them make me feel slightly ill just from the smell.
I do have a great Indian place locally I use fairly often and a couple others, just can’t imagine buying the chain stuff.
The things that seize do so because they are infrequently operated/removed so I don’t see that being the main issue with this.

Aside from not having to charge I think the biggest benefit to this would be charging the packs off peak to even out grid load, or when there is excess solar etc.

Linux phone will hopefully become realistic thing.
But the more this goes on the more my attitude has changed. I now do far less on my phone, I’m more careful about what I expose to it. As a result I spend very little time on it and that’s been great.
To be clear I hate what’s happening, it’s just been working out to improve my time.
