I understood you. When people go to a country when coming from America and expect the authentic version to be the same as what they have been eating they will be disappointed. Its not a better or worse thing its just very different.
Italian food here is Italian-American and a lot of it has significantly evolved from what you would get in itally. It’s not authentic Italian it is however authentic Italian-American.

I meant to put the linguist at the end in quotes my bad on that. I was trying to refer to the self styled reddit “linguists” that you would see trying to correct people for using the wrong form of then/than where it was really not appropriate.

a lot of them died because they never bring in new people and people leave for a variety of reasons.
It really is interesting how simultaneously big and small the world it now. I have times where people call an artist the biggest up in comer and I have never heard of them but they somehow have 10mil monthly listeners.
I got off tiktok a while ago and the only thing that I miss is small musicians that post their early works to the platform.
Their music is interesting I’ll definitely have to check out more of it to see how I feel about it.

I mean AGI is possible unless causality isn’t true and the brain just is a “soul’s” interface for the material world.

calibre might be my favorite piece of software ever made. I wish every media format had a calibre equivalent. I have sorted thousands of books and merged so many series into single files because who needs seperate books on an eReader.
