  • You’re right but IMO that part of the article that you highlighted should be the news, not the “we should make Musk do something”.

Musk is a billionaire that thrives on attention so any form of headline that cites his name is playing his game.

Twitter is a company with investors. They should be accountable to what happens in their domain. And not by having their wrist slapped because – for the nth time – something bad happened. Media should be saying by now that Twitter is a bad place. Like they did with other social networks before.

    OP’s problem isn’t even wrong.

It’s just assuming that π is 5 in this specific scenario, just like it’s reasonable to assume the existence of a spherical cow in a frictionless environment. Yeah, if you use the results of this problem to develop a real cylinder you’re going to have a bad time but nobody is doing that all what’s the problem?

Nobody is saying that from this point in time and going forward π = 5 and now math is broken forever. People need to chill

I know a guy that very was vocal against street lights in the 90’s.

He was/is an amateur astronomer that modified his rooftop to be an actual telescope and the street lamps were angled in a certain way that like 40% of the light produced by them was shinning to the sky, making his observations harder to perform.

He went to my school to warn about light pollution and also teach us about planets and all that good stuff.

I think he became frustrated and quitted because last time I saw anything about him he was all about rescuing dogs from the street. :/
