This is dumb because it’s not comparing the 16 Pro model. The 16 is the budget model. The pro model has many of these features like the 120Hz display, but I guess you need to omit things to get people outraged and upvote your silly meme.

Also, who tf even uses USB? I haven’t plugged my phone in to transfer USB data in 8 years. Literally everything is streamed. But, I’m glad you’re excited about your USB speeds.

As for storage size, I’m on the 128GB, but I use half that because again, everything is streamed and in the cloud. Photos automatically get backed up to the cloud and offloaded. I don’t even think about it. But, I’m glad you’re excited about popping and swapping SD cards and manually transferring data to your hard drive. Seems tedious.

This is the issue with Android users for me — you’re all computing like it’s 1998 still. These factors you’re comparing are irrelevant to 99% of phone users.

3.5mm jack? Who uses wired headphones anymore?

Now let’s talk about what the Android can’t do that random iPhone phone can. Does it send messages via satellite? Looks like no. Does it call 911 when you are in a car accident? Nope. Does it have built in generative AI that connects all the context of your calendar, mail, messages, photos, etc to intelligently help you organize your life? Nope.

The iPhone does though. Because Apple knows those features matter more to the lives of their users in 2024.

But, tell me more about your USB port and SD cards. Who is computing in the past again?

  • I don’t think they are running inefficiently. I do think they have more than enough money to keep themselves going for many years to come. Also, the lack of inclusiveness in the editing is the reason I don’t donate. Nothing like making an article contribution only to have it quickly reverted by some control freak editor from the inner circle. Wikipedia is not actually what it claims to be. It’s slightly more open than a real encyclopedia, but not much.
