  • I actually have a fairly positive experience with ai ( copilot using claude specificaly ). Is it wrong a lot if you give it a huge task yes, so i dont do that and using as a very targeted solution if i am feeling very lazy today . Is it fast . Also not . I could actually be faster than ai in some cases. But is it good if you are working for 6h and you just dont have enough mental capacity for the rest of the day. Yes . You can just prompt it specificaly enough to get desired result and just accept correct responses. Is it always good ,not really but good enough. Do i also suck after 3pm . Yes.
My main issue is actually the fact that it saves first and then asks you to pick if you want to use it. Not a problem usualy but if it crashes the generated code stays so that part sucks

  • Spotify is worse not really beacuse it pays less but due to the way it pays the artist where all streams are pooled together. That incetivizes bot farms way too much and is the main reason i even tried anything else( tidal but i really didint like it so i got back ) . It really should have a model where your money goes to the artists you listened. In defence of spotify tho changing it is likely pain in the arse. Well not technicaly but i imagine they have countless contracts where the way of profit sahring is stated and would violate the agreement.

  • I on the other hand find spotify recomendation to be fantastic generaly speaking. I for example dont see a world where braveride( small band from grece(?) with a few hundreds views per song at best , not without the reason. Audio quality is shit in their songs ,only the newest album actually was made in proper recording studio apparently , very cool nontheless ) would ever show up naturaly anywhere. Also its fairly varied so while it generaly tries to keep to your taste it sometimes does the same thing as youtube and throws something weird out of nothing. I like that. But yes as usual with algorithms it needs training so you will probably get garbage for a while( i got way too much rap for a while despite me barerly considering this as a music in the first place ), similar situation with new YouTube account. Im speaking only about discover weekly recomendations tho. I dont use anything else for recomendations in spotify.

  • It absolutley does. Also cyberpunk actually gives you a lot of freedom on how you aproach combat. Can you play it as mindless shooter. Yup . But you can also play deus ex like that and no one calls it a shitty first person shooter ( even tho thats technicaly the easiest way to finish the game ). And as far as the world and story is concerned its equisite. As far as whetewer its an RPG or not. If mass effect is an RPG than so is cyberpunk i think . Very subjective thing in general . Definietly not a hill im willing to die on.

  • Not really peaked. More like we entered the era of diminishing returns which btw is great if you are not blinded by the marketing. Mid to low range phones are fairly cheap and more than adequate for almost anything . Do you know how shit even mid range phones were 10+ years ago and how fast they were getting too old to be usable. Right now its more than reasonable to use any smartphone for a 3 to 5 years and probably even longer ( before only champions like samsung Galaxy note 4 could even hope to match that ). Everything you talk about is cheaper and more afforable than ever before( if you do the usual and not buy overpriced brands beacuse of a brand like apple , galaxy phone , roomba robot vacuums etc… ). The only thing thats a shitshow right now are websites and computer prices precisly beacuse right now the current hype is LLM( which makes graphic cards really f expensive and kinda hits website by ricoshet due to the negative LLM influence ).

Actually even as smartphones go there is a progress. Folding phones. Coincidently they are less relaiable and not as long lived . Exatcly as smartphones were 10 years ago.

Also smartphones were something much grander than a simple tech innovation. They were truly a society changing innovation like cars, trains , planes or a computer. They just peaked much faster than cars , trains or planes. In fact they probably had bigger impact on society than computers.

  • Yeach windows has problems but stability is definietly not one of them. Likewise linux has problems but in fact it is not harder to use ( in fact it is so easy to use that it is reasonably popular to put some easy distro in some forsaken by time laptop instead of windows for pepole who use browser and literaly nothing else ). Frankly speaking most pepole just dont give enough f about their system. The best i can say about it is that pop os specificaly just looks better ( i am in the apparent minority of pepole that very much likes the looks of gnome ). The best way to populrize linux is to have it by deafult instead of windows on laptops and prebuilds but that will never really happen ( they make insane amount of money on Markup by having windows installed despite the fact that they get it for really really cheap. Its really apparent when you compare some laptops that can be bought without the os preinstalled )
