I respect that dad’s haircut. Accepted reality and keeping things neat. Strong man.

I’m not sure where my head was when I commented this.
Just getting at the idea that they’re basically worshipping the thing.
We as people just really like worshipping stuff.
Maybe worship is the wrong word due to its religious connotations, but it’s effectively the same thing to hold these kind of celebrations for items that we revere.
Anyway, I’m not sure why the above was relevant:)
It’s called worship.
Not a bad thing, just shit when it’s used to control people.
Good on them for expressing their appreciationane love (worship) for something that is expanding our knowledge.
Meaning the last 6 years of his career there were on starfield, which he wasn’t a manager of, if he quit 3 years ago.
This feels like a standard toxic gaming community thread where dismissing someone’s achievements is for some reason fair game.
Dude held a job at a huge publisher for 14 years, then quit and developed his own thing.
Good on him!
Hmm, my thinking was that journeys that use the full range of the electric vehicle are the exception though.
So in your example, it makes sense to have a ICE vehicle as you require the range. Most of us though don’t need that range. Most of us are unlikely to regularly be driving over 200 miles for a commute, and therefore EVs make sense for all of these people.
For your scenario, if you are motivated enough to do this, it might even work out cheaper to buy an EV, and rent an ICE car for your longer trip. But fair enough that this would be much less convenient.
One source for my thinking: https://www.statista.com/chart/24684/average-duration-of-a-one-way-commute/
Thank you for taking the time to write this out so eloquently.
To be fair, they said ‘a more enlightened time’, like how my face can be more handsome without me actually being handsome. :|
It’s not like someone can just pop out 100 children to skew votes
On an individual basis sure, but this still poses two problems:
Hmm, I’d be wary to parents taking advantage of this.
I mean, the first picture alone looks pretty naff.
Not about lessers, just others.
You do you is a great mantra, as long as you doing you isn’t negatively affecting others.
Any (especially input) lag? When I was using steam stream about 5 years ago any quick reaction based game was a no go die to the input lag between my well specxed pc and crappy laptop.
I started playing chess on lichess, it has tonnes of tutorials and an AI you can set the level of. Really helped scratch my itch.
If Microsoft are worried about Linux now, imagine what they’ll feel once it activates!
Whilst I don’t want to argue about whether the appreciation of people in your life should be encouraged by a celebration day, I would like to point out that holidays aren’t specific to appreciating people . They can also be for appreciating things , such as natural phenomenon.
Personally I’d prefer winter and summer type celebrations on the equinox and solstice than Christmas and a seemingly random (in my country) public holiday at a point in the summer where it isn’t that warm anymore.
Presumably there could be nuance to the situation that the chat bot is able to convey?
Tbf, I’d trust them both about the same with my personal info.
Triforce (by Yogscast guys) is excellent.
It’s just three funny, kinda nerdy, guys chatting shit. No scripting. Minimal ads. Funny stuff.
Yeah this is what irked me.
Surprised nobody tounge in cheek said this already, maybe it’s too obvious?
Ask an AI.
