I like using icons to cram in as much information as possible, and I usually have a specific schema that can parameterized like:
ship classship numbership nameroute overviewprimary cargo
So for I-Class #03 (codename Instigator) distributing logistics (belts, inserters, roboports, etc.) from Vulcanus to other planets:
[virtual-signal=signal-I]03 Instigator [planet=vulcanus][virtual-signal=right-arrow][virtual-signal=signal-each][item=express-transport-belt][item=bulk-inserter]
…where (letter)-Class is a blueprint for a ship shaped like (letter). In my current playthrough I started with the stationary F-Class for space science, then made the meager M-Class to get me to Vulcanus and Gleba, then made the I-Class when I unlocked advanced asteroid processing for proper item transport. I’m planning to make a larger Z-Class for going to Aquilo, and possibly a long-haul J-Class for the solar system edge and shattered planet.
