      i’ve seen people use similar things to protect electrical antennas before, so arm warmers on moth antennae aren’t the most outlandish thing ever!!

      this paper also seems intriguing, although if they start putting microchips with antennas in our clothes i swear i will make a cocoon and just morph myself into a moth (with cute hosiery of course!! if i become a moth i’m gonna do it right >:3)

        I’ve never seen cloth covers used to protect radio antennas before but I guess it does make sense they would be used to protect them. Though since moths use their antenna to pick up air currents and vibrations, as opposed to radio waves it would certainly impair the function of them to put cloth on them.
