    I would have a modicum of respect for this property of YouTube videos if literally even any part of their UI showed that a video was age restricted. Otherwise it’s clear this is a ploy to get people to log in, nothing else.

      I got a “sign in to confirm that you are not a bot” the other day. I was able to circumvent it, but I suspect that many people will just sign in.
