Good quality lavender scented biodegradable dog poo bags, they are about 3p per bag when buying ~6 months worth, but you can buy nappy bags for about 0.3p per bag. That extra 2.7p per poo is well worth it. 2 poos a day is about £10 per year to not risk getting poo on your hands, having lavender scented pockets, and less plastic usage.

Costco has this Italian water - carbonated if I recall - 8 bottles in a pack if I recall.

It’s always been on the pricey side… I think it was $12 or so when we first started buying it occasionally, likely 7-8 years ago. Then it went up to $16 seemingly overnight - now I think it’s close to $20.

It is a luxury, no question. It’s not that we can’t afford it, just that it is a LOT of money for water, lol. We get it less than once a year now, but it is always a very nice treat when we do.

Just got some Nichicon fine gold capacitors for the signal path of my 1985 Yamaha amplifier. Sounds cleaner than ever and all the caps I ordered cost me less than £2.

What do you mean? Nichicon’s fg series are one one the best reviewed audio grade capacitors, not to mention that Yamaha used their products in the original build. It just so happens that at these specs even the most expensive capacitors cost next to nothing, that’s why I mentioned it as a cheap luxury.

There’s a $12 bottle of Monastrell that my roommate and I adore. It’s rich and complex with wonderful plum and fruit notes, it’s not too expensive, it’s vegan, and it always seems to be flying off the shelves.

Whenever I see it, I try to buy a case of it and we save the bottles, never opening more than one a night, debating if we should open another cheap red or “one of the good ones”.

It’s not much, but it is a luxury I love to enjoy and share with friends.

French toast sticks. On mornings where I want extra, air fried French toast sticks and hash browns are great.

( 400f, 12 minutes for hash browns, 6 min for sticks)
