I really like this game, but it’s possible to get stuck off you don’t do/get/use things in the right order.
As someone with over 200 hours in graveyard keeper, I have a tip for new players.
Make sure you buy the blue and white stone from the innkeeper, it’s a rechargeable teleport item that allows you to instantly navigate most of the map every 30 seconds or so; the game will never tell you this, and i only bothered to get it long after it would have been of any use before I realised what it was. Hope this helps someone
That stone is amazing. I am so sorry you didn’t get it early!

Oh man, many thanks!
There’s a SEQUEL?? Man, this game was my JAM back in undergrad.
Wait a minute? What?
Oh hell yea. Finally a game to actually be hyped about.
It’s the OG headline of the article, Graveyard Keeper 2 is coming later this year.
NGL, I thought this was just a steam link and did not see there was also an article in the post.
No worries, it does only show the steam link thumbnail on mobile (I was on desktop originally)
I got around 10 hours in, but felt the resource gathering became a bit slow and tedious. Generally liked the rest of the game, maybe theres some mods to look at?
Oh hey, I just started play this again last night.
Fantastic game. Great tongue-in-cheek humor.
the pixel art is beautiful in this game. i’m seeing some recent negative reviews tho
Its extremely grindy compared to stardew, but thats what it is. Its a very good extreme grind stardew.
It can be grindy but it isn’t that bad when you know where to get things. I think what handicaps this game though from a wider audience is that this game really does not hold your hand for crafting things and in-game systems. It really wants you to experiment yourself and figure out what is most efficient.
The quest system as well has very little direction at what to do sometimes and it being heavily interconnected makes encountering a random roadblock very frequent, which many people probably get frustrated at when they are used to modern games and quest structures.
i played this game hard for a while, but there were so many CTD progress reverting bugs that it finally killed my enthusiasm for it.
CTD?
Yeah my bad, crash to desktop, or in the case of the switch, crash to homescreen
Legend!
