True, they keep adding stuff. They may add fidget spinners as well. Who knows, they keep pushing ‘final’ finalest updates if all times, til the next one. And that’s really cool.
it’s really cool how much they’ve worked on it over the years. but it’s not for me. i played it when wall of flesh was the final boss, and after beating that i felt like i was done with that gameplay loop.
It can feel very work like. If you don’t like strip minining in minecraft this is not fir you. I actually like building small bases and the limited set of ores works fine enough for me. Yeah in comparison terraria can be overwhelming. But when it’s fun it’s actually fun like few other things. It’s also a very lighthearted game, minecraft will forever be melancholic. It’s also addicting if you’re the kinfd of person who likes consistend upgrades.
I think minecraft is what it is because of youtube and the creative mode. Survival is the only thing that makes building interesting, but for anything bigger than that you may need creative.
But i enjoy building castles and fortified bases, than you can basically go for adventures without ever strip mining. Villgaer maps, treasure maps and so on. I really don’t care for the end that much. It’s not one game it’s a million different games.
Just so that you know all these things are in terraria and you can attack things with them. Not the fidget spinner but the other things are in there.
terraria predates fidget spinners
Damn, I didn’t know Terraria needed to eat.

personally i can never get into things that want me to grind for the sake of grinding. vanilla minecraft is a no-go, give me automation.
