It effectively offered bush the freedom to attack any nation he chose, and he immediately executed on the opportunity, stole trillions of dollars, and now he’s considered cute and silly. And so people disappointedly meme the holiday that signaled decades of wasted lives. If I had been affected, I’d just skip using social media for the week before and after. Between “never forget” and “watch this drive”, it’s rough.
