    “Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid” was written by the author of “The Princess Bride.”

    There’s a lot of Butch in Inigo, and a little of Sundance in Wesley.

    It’s a great movie.

      Reading the intro to The Princess Bride (novel) confused the hell out of me until I realized the author was writing as a fictitious version of himself.

        Goldman’s other works tend to get ignored. “Magic” and “Marathon Man” are incredible thrillers. Both were turned into excellent movies.
