look more closely. it isn’t. it’s a photo with a narrow resolution that someone tried to upscale (poorly) to a higher, wider one.

it probably used ai to predict colors badly. but the photo in the middle is real.

While you are probably correct, I doubt that the image processing was intentional. It’s probably just been uploaded to a bunch of different websites which each have their own image processing.

Like, you’re right. But I don’t think the excessive image processing was intentional. I think it was performed by multiple uploads to different websites.

probably. you can clearly see the square instagram sized photo in the center either way.

I think there’s something quite disturbing about the fact that we have all had to become image analysis experts just because everything we see every day is so hard to believe

nah its ok. humans like to see patterns and whatnot and when we get stuff we’re not used to we tend to go "nuh uh! >=(”

human brains are working as intended.

human brains are working as intended.

That’s the problem. A critical component of living in and maintaining a civilized society as that we can, collectively, rise above how our animalistic primitive monkey brains work. You know, for the betterment of our collective selves and all that. When we fail to do that, we find ourselves in the situation we are in right now.

Yeah with those strong vertical lines it isn’t ai, not entirely, but some kind of composition
