You need to pour confidently. You can’t let the liquid sense your fear.
You just have to prepare you well enough for the mess.
You know, learning chemistry is nice and all, and there’s lots of maths and knowledge, but the real special knowledge in doing chemistry is one simple phrase:
“When pouring, you’ve got to commit”
In my personal worldbuilding I’ve made it into a proverb “do not spill — pour” to mean “to do something confidently where hesistation guarantees failure”.
I like that! I particularly love that your worldbuilding includes cultural tidbits like that.
last night i committed extra hard and spilled everything on the counter and floor and my clothes
Is the fish okay?
very
Fair enough. Are you well?
i am the fish
git pour?
The lesson here is commit or quit
I love how the poured milk pattern is like a Christmas tree
Pouring liquids from mugs is the bane of my existence
Next time move the bowl to meet the pour.
Or hold the cup closer to the bowl
Put the bowl on top of the mug, and then quickly flip both over.
put the bowl and the mug in a bigger bowl, then put another big bowl on top and shake
Me putting water in my keurig machine every morning…
First moment of the liquid distribution is right in the bowl, so what’s the problem?
