When I was getting a new line for some relatives, I found that when going through the web checkout process you could select your phone number out of 5 choices before completing the purchase. I thought that was pretty bad design as it shows which numbers are most likely going to be new. It would be pretty easy to scrape that page and create a spam list.

Sure enough, it didn’t take long for the new number to start receiving spam.

Got Android 15 recently. The volume bar is twice as big now! I thought it was just a visual difference but volume is now more finely tuned, as in it goes from 0 to 20 instead of 0 to 10 and steps by 1. (Not sure of the real numbers)

I used to use Boost for Reddit so I naturally started using Boost for Lemmy when it came out. But for some reason I wasn’t quite satisfied with it.

I’m currently on Thunder and have been liking it a lot. Don’t really hear it talked about much though.

Oh man I know, right‽ In Canada the run up to the election can be between 37 and 51 days. The US election cycle is for fucking ever and then restarts 2 years after the election, and that’s not counting mid terms. Just exhausting.
