feddit.org is the main German instance, although not all communities on here are in German.
Yeah, I have a CD with some x rays lying around here somewhere.
Although the MRT images I got done recently were accessed via QR code (+password) on an online portal, so yay progress.
Don’t worry, ich_iel is confusing for native speakers as well.
In all the examples listed in the response, the inviter must explicitly be the owner of the house:

Although that just leaves us with the question about who is considered the owner. I’m a renter, so would that be me, or my landlord?
Fun fact: In German, this boils down to which translation of “owner” is used. I’m the “Besitzer” of my apartment (I possess it), but not the “Eigentümer” (I cannot sell it).
Bold of you to assume the afterlife has no ads.
“We’re gonna have a great economy”
“Project 2025 is not mine, I didn’t read it”
“I will end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours”
Trump has never been up front about anything other than molesting women.
MRT machines are much larger than the devices shown here.
They do backfill, but they obviously lose quite a bit of volume in the process, so they cannot completely fill the hole. The remaining part is usually flooded.
Deleting accounts doesn’t mean the company deletes your data. Even under GDPR (Everyone else is completely SOL here, I believe), they can keep if it is required for their business, unless you explicitly demand a full deletion.
That’s because capitalism was created by God to reward the faithful punish the wicked. /s
a safety or environmental incident, or the company will lose millions of dollars
Those are ultimately the same thing, no?
+1 for Home Assistant
I have it running on a Pi 5 (although a Pi 4 is more then enough), with a 15€ USB ZigBee antenna from AliExpress (to connect IKEA devices).
The best thing about it is that it seamlessly integrates all devices with each other, so you can use cheap ZigBee buttons to control your Philipps Hue lightbulbs, for example.
Always online cars are mandated by EU regulations, and for a very good reason: automated emergency calls including GPS coordinates in case of crashes.
Other nice benefits include regular map updates.
That said, there is a lot of garbage being attached to the online functionality nowadays. And the way data is collected and handled in the background it at least partially atrocious, so let’s attack that instead of the proverbial baby in the bathwater.
Also quick shoutout to lollipop Sanji.
Not quite. Boats need to be registered with the environmental agency, there’s mooring fees, and licenses from the canals and rivers trust (the is the UK after all), and probably some more I haven’t found yet.

True, but adding a light switch still doesn’t prevent their roommate from opening their app and turning on their lights.
Of you press up/down right after left/right the window will be a quarter of the screen instead of half.
On Windows 11, you can also just drag towards the top, and it’ll give you different snapping options.
One of them was in Springer Nature’s Environmental Science and Pollution Research, but it has since been retracted.
The other journals seem less impactful (I cannot truly judge the merit of journals spanning several research fields)
None of these have anything even remotely close to 4k textures. We can argue all day about whether or not those are required for “good graphics” (I don’t think so either). But there’s no amount of optimization that compresses those textures without losing the fidelity you’re using them for.
It’s got absolutely nothing to do with the engine or optimization.
