They certainly didn’t. The reason why we are in this position in the first place is that the scientific community has ignored these charlatans for so long. Science communicators like Professor Dave actively working to dismantle the talking points of these figures works to at least make it possible for science-minded people to be able to defend their ideas more easily, make it so that people unsure about these topics stop considering conspiratorial views, and just maybe make people deep in the conspiracy theory at least be unable to sleep at night thinking about what they’ve heard. This stuff does actually help people.
Their ideas do not deserve the respect of being on an equal stage with the scientific consensus.
Yes, that’s why they should get humiliated publicly in exchanges like this.

She already had a private pilot license but was required to build up flying hours with an instructor it seems. The article still refers to her as a student.

1·18 days agoWireguard isn’t what matters. What matters is how much personal data the VPN company collects and how they handle that personal data. In Mullvad’s case, they don’t need any personal information to sign up (you just generate an account number and can then pay via cash/monero for anonymity), and they don’t get any personal information when you use the service either as their servers are RAM-only so they can’t log anything.

No, LTT did in-video edits. They called them out because they had insane errors that could’ve been easily caught during editing in the first place, and their “fixes” were sometimes very unnoticeable by the viewer (just small text on the bottom correcting the information etc.).
