Totally. I’m an introvert, and when my phone rings, I pick it up with no problem. I also immediately put it down again with no problem. Works really well, except when people decide to let it ring for what feels like eternity.
Yeah, this is actually more a social anxiety thing. Introverts are more likely to have untreated social anxiety because it self reinforces with their preference for isolation.
You can be an introvert and have no trouble at all picking up the phone, though.
