Ever since the pandemic, I haven’t gone to any fast food joint … it’s been about five years now.

Now I just don’t see the point … financially, morally, logically, philosophically

Let’s buy the cheapest most unhealthy food possible that will degrade my health and life over time - which in a few years will cost me money and time as I try to buy back my health with medication or medical facilities … and at the same time, I give my money to a corporate megalith, with the majority of the funds going to no name faceless investors and the rest going to pay for the actual food, which has been produced and manufactured as cheaply as possible to save cost … and the remainder of the funds going to pay a worker as cheaply as possible to avoid breaking national laws but bending and breaking as many of those laws to squeeze as much money away from employees to send the savings to your faceless investors.

I haven’t eaten fast food on my own dime in forever, entirely for financial reasons. Shit’s as expensive as a sit-down restaurant anymore.

If my financial situation ever fully recovers, I won’t go back to eating fast food, though. I’ll fucking finally invest in a good deep fryer and fucking hunt down McDonald’s supplier by trial and error so I can just make them myself whenever I want them.

I used to work there; I KNOW there’s no fucking trick to those nuggets and fries. It’s all frozen and prepackaged.
