My post was not whitewashing tankies, I don’t defend any human rights abuses and I disavow anyone who does.
Yeah that’s fine, I meant whitewashing as in denying that lemmy has a tankie problem. I don’t claim you are a tankie or anything like that.
It’s not clearly correct though, as tankies are unpopular, there is absolutely more talk about them (i.e. normal people who like human rights) than there are tankies
100% with you on this one. For every tankie on lemmy there are like 5 to 10 people bitching about tankies. There are entire unhinged communities dedicated to it even.

I’m sorry but there are plenty of tankies on lemmy. I don’t frequent .world much, and I assume there aren’t a lot there, but more leftist parts of lemmy unfortunately have a very real problem with tankies.
