It actually looks like they just take Fortnite, MonHunt, and Horizon, knead it together, sprinkle some vampire suvivor’s perk system, and bake it.
Maybe a dash of Nightreign too.

I hate everything about this. I hope it does well enough that it doesn’t shut down their studio.
I hate that when this bombs it will be the studios fault and not the Sony overlord that demanded a live service corruption of Horizon in the style of Fortnite.

Both Dauntless and Horizon are games inspired by Monster Hunter that I like more than Monster Hunter. And not only does this look worse than both of those, it’ll probably be monetized to hell.

As someone who finally clicked with Monster Hunter recently, this looks promising.
I’ve struggled with the Horizon games (length is too much) but this could get me on board.
