What gets me is when people think it’s weird being so aggressively anti ad, anti AI, anti account for everything, anti everything’s got a fucking all these days, etc. and treat this stuff as normal or somehow sane. Sometimes it feels like I’m losing my damn mind, man!

As someone who was a teenager when home computers with Internet were starting to get popular, I can tell you something similar occurred and we semi fixed it. So I’m hopeful for that too.
Popups.
They would be all over even if you weren’t on the browser.
It could make the computer unusable.
But then ad blockers came out. And virus protector software.
And it’s true that the advertising-virus of the internet mutated.
But then we got u blocker .
And I think there is a demand for better blocking and I’m hoping someone out there finds solutions.
Legislation would be most helpful but I’m not counting on that any time soon.
You telling me you didn’t want another browser toolbar?
