It also provides yet another reason why it’s important to keep artists’ names in their work. It’s not only for giving credit where it’s due, but for providing context when the artist has questionable leanings.

Drawn for the male gaze clearly. Who would wear a thong and those weird leg warmers that look like thigh highs to bed? Would make much more sense if she was wearing an oversized tshirt or simple nightgown but thats not sexy enough.

This brings me back to when i still scrolled 9gag and came across their comics semi-frequently. Their flagship series is “living with hipster girl and gamer girl”, and it’s about a boy with two chesty roommates. The women were always drawn like this.
