Wouldn’t it be “Fully Qualified Domain Username”? FQDU instead of FQDN

Hmm…nah, I think that “domain name” is used in “FQDN” because “domain name” itself is a noun.

Like, if you say “fully qualified whatever”, I think that you’d have to fully specify it; if it includes the domain to uniquely-specify it, that’d be part of it.
