Transcription of the tiny text in the six interview frames:
“The shocking thing about that scene was, they didn’t have insurance. And what’s more, they used real arrows, and the archers were college students.”
“The arrows were going everywhere. The archers weren’t good shots.”
I seem to remember reading that he just had like a block of wood under his costume to stop the arrow from killing him lol
I just watched a 70’s UK show, Colditz, and some of the things in that were things which I don’t think would be allowed anymore.
At one point they were just like filling the actors crossing a river on some slimy stone, and it clearly was not a studio, but an actual river. And there would’ve been like a 5 meter fall had they slipped properly. There was a branch or something they were holding onto, but I can see that with extremely bad luck, some of those scenes could’ve gone horribly wrong if anything went wrong.
Although I do wonder if actors are like allowed to nowadays. I would like to. Some crazy director-producer would put me in crazy dangerous shit just to catch it on film. I’d like that.
Perfectly structured layers of danger!
Fuck you this needs significantly more jpeg to be anything approaching a useable meme >:(
I have been overgenerous with my pixels
