mine is risotto
Animal for sure. But also really the entire band.
Although a large part of that comes from the best Robot Chicken Sketch in their entire series…
Pepe. The whole concept of a prawn Muppet is amazing.
ANIMAL!
And Fozzy the Bear
Tim Curry
Ah yeah the classic: Michael Caine acted like the muppets were normal people and Tim curry acted like he was also a muppet.
I could narrow down maybe but no way I could come down to one. I mean even the ones who only appeared a few times are in the running.
Beaker. Pure chaos. 10/10
This. A terrible surgeon by all accounts, but laid-back and entirely competent as a musician.
Fozzie also proved to be a competent pianist, but his personality, or at least his “on” stage persona, well, that leaves something to be desired.
Fozzie is a great comedian, if your idea of a great comedian is someone that tells bad jokes and knows how to take a few tomatoes to the face.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Fozzie, in fact I think I kind of want to give the guy a hug.
The man (or rather, bear) just wants to be loved after all. He wants to make people laugh and have them be happy. He’s the clown with a touch of melancholy, and might even be in my top 10. He’s just not top of the list.
Statler & Waldorf.
Swedish Chef
Difficult choice. I like Fozzie’s bad joke schtick, and Statler & Waldorf are classic, but I think my heart truly belongs to Dr. Teeth and by extension all of The Electric Mayhem.
Beaker.
Gonzo the Great.
This, a million times this
Beaker and Swedish Chef are also amazing, but this is most certainly one of my favourites:
My lovable, furry old pal Grover
Seconding Grover. His adventures are the best!
