That happened to me and the internal candidate got the job. Fortunately they offered me a different position and eventually they hired me

7·5 months agoI only had problems with booking.com one time and their customer services wasn’t at all helpful. I had to go through my bank and do a chargeback, but fortunately I got my money back in the end.

They likely aren’t concerned, since probably their data shows that while a few people might be annoyed and choose not to purchase, overall sales would still increase compared to not running ads
But if you have to choose from two clothing brands that have similar quality you will be more likely to choose the one you have seen in an ad. Even if you are only 10% more likely to do that (arbitrary number) multiply it by thousands of people and it’s worth it for the company.
That’s why ad companies are trying to get as much data as possible on everyone. They know that showing you random products won’t work.

3·11 months agodo you mean ChatGPT the website? Because you can use chatgpt models through copilot, but there are other models too.
You don’t take into account that Google made its search worse on purpose and now you have to make two or more queries to find what you need.
In my supermarket you can go through stuff they picked for you and reject anything you don’t like.
