    Because it’s easier to rely on YouTube than have to pay to permanently host something and all the bandwidth associated with it.

    Video hosting is expensive. And IPFS is slow.

    Lbry worked on top of it somehow iirc.

    The only website successfully using ipfs that I’m aware of is plebbit, a 4chan/Reddit clone.
