Probably for women who need to breastfeed or use those pumps while at work. Because besides not having parental leave somehow the states also does not require a room to be provided for such things.
"Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) … most nursing employees have the right to reasonable break time and a private place to pump breast milk while at work. This right is available each time the employee needs to pump for up to one year after the child’s birth.
This Fact Sheet summarizes the space requirements for pump breaks under the FLSA."
Couldn’t they just put a toilet seat on the toilet for that then? This sends the message they are trying to maximize efficiency and allow someone to sit on the commode whilst someone else is breast feeding.
Anywhere suggesting that someone that is breastfeeding should have to sit facing a prison commode isn’t really focused on comfort. The assumption here is that if they are willing to relegate someone to such a place for breastfeeding, they don’t give a damn about comfort and it’s more likely that they want to keep the toilet free. It’s hyperbole hopefully.
Oh. I think he meant that you’re probably fun at parties. Which also makes me fun at parties. Come to think of it, you and I could go together to the party. Matching hats? <3
For dudes who want to sit down to piss without taking their pants down.

That’s blatantly wrong.

Can confirm my workplace has a designated room for nursing. (USA)
When I was in the US the “dedicated room” was the handicapped toilet with a chair in it, exactly this setup.
That sounds reportable and not the norm
Yeah the US is shit, but we don’t need to dogpile. Again, most likely reportable and a singular instance. Thank you for your anecdote

Having a more comfortable place to sit does not imply multiple people have to use the space at once.

I bet you are fun at parties.
Even if I agreed with your implication about their comment, this has got to be one of the lamest and tired comebacks on the internet.
… And?
Oh. I think he meant that you’re probably fun at parties. Which also makes me fun at parties. Come to think of it, you and I could go together to the party. Matching hats? <3
Shirts.
You’re allowed to pull your pants down really it’s a sport of distance more than anything.
