Yeah, horses got a lot of design flaws, sure.

But to make up for it, evolution gave them a really amazing cock.

Modern horses were designed by humans. They were basically marked for extinction (outcompeted by cows who occupied the same habitat but can digest grass much more efficiently).
But then humans domesticated horses, bred them to become large enough to ride and spread them around the world.

      outcompeted by cows

I’m going to need a source because there are many herbavores in central asia where the modern horse originated (after crossing the Bering straight) which means horses outcompeted the local fauna to establish a population. Meanwhile cows were in southern Asia. So there was limited overlap in habitat.

Yes, The OP claimed that horses for transport is what saved them from extinction. But everything he said was wrong. Horses outcompeted the native fauna of Central Asia to become established before domestication AND didn’t occupy the same habitat as cows.

I don’t know what you mean. How are they better should I just search for octopus eye biology for a lil treat?

Edit: they put the wires behind the image sensor!!! Octopus on the right vertebrate on the left

Ha I remembered correctly, I was too lazy to double check so I could’ve looked like a total dumbass.

Anyhow the reason for that is really interesting, something something when did they evolve a brain IIRC

The left recurrent laryngeal nerve loops down and around your aorta. This is even true for giraffes.
